CEO Koichi Sato to Speak at the ‘Senegal Business Forum’

SUCRECUBE JAPON Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Koichi Sato) is pleased to announce that our CEO, Koichi Sato, will be a speaker at a panel discussion during the ‘Senegal Business Forum,’ to be held in Osaka City on Monday, August 25, 2025.

This forum is co-hosted by the Government of the Republic of Senegal and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) to commemorate Senegal’s National Day at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. It represents a significant opportunity for numerous companies and stakeholders interested in business with Senegal to gather.

Mr. Sato will be speaking on the following panel:

■ Panel Discussion 2: “Senegal, Gateway to West Africa: Opportunities for Export and Strategic Partnerships”

In this session, representing a startup originating from Japan, Mr. Sato will present the concrete progress and future outlook of our project on the “value-addition of agricultural products and their export, powered by a solar-based cold chain,” which we are promoting in collaboration with four major Japanese corporations.

To date, our company has developed solutions that maximize the value of Senegal’s abundant agricultural resources by combining renewable energy and ICT. As a tangible example of our success, we have developed high-quality “processed Senegalese mango products,” demonstrating that this project has moved beyond the conceptual stage and is steadily advancing into implementation.

We consider this speaking engagement an excellent opportunity to report the project’s achievements to esteemed government officials, including His Excellency the President of the Republic of Senegal, and business leaders from both nations. Furthermore, it will serve as a declaration of our strong commitment to further strengthening our collaborative framework, securing financing, and fully promoting the “construction of a solar cold chain, sale of related equipment, and export of high-quality processed goods” in partnership with the Republic of Senegal.

SUCRECUBE JAPON will continue to act as a bridge between Japan and Africa, contributing to the economic development of both regions through the creation of sustainable industries powered by renewable energy.
