About each award
Sugoi Venture 100. An annual feature by the business magazine Toyo Keizai that selects 100 promising young companies. In the 2026 edition, SUCRECUBE Japon was one of the 6 companies in the ESG and Impact category.
Iwasa Award (SDGs Japan Scholarship). An award by the newspaper group The Asahi Shimbun that supports people and organisations working steadily on social problems and the SDGs. Received in March 2023 in the Economy category.
Impact 100. A Forbes JAPAN feature presenting companies and people who have an impact on society. SUCRECUBE Japon appeared in the September 2022 issue. This is a feature, not an award.
Japan SDGs Award. An award given by the Government of Japan’s SDGs Promotion Headquarters, chaired by the Prime Minister, to companies and organisations whose work contributes to the SDGs. The Special Award was presented on 24 December 2021 at the Prime Minister’s Office.
Nikkei Social Business Contest. A contest organised by Nikkei Inc. that evaluates social businesses built around the SDGs. The Excellence Award was given after the final pitch.
