Japanese public programmes
SUCRECUBE Japon has built its track record in Senegal through programmes run by Japanese ministries and public agencies. The technology and operating models validated in these programmes are then carried into procurement by international organisations and into private projects. This is how the company approaches public-private partnership. The two Sandiara sites are owned by the company. They were built with a government subsidy and a foundation grant, and are run by the subsidiary TUMIQUI JAPON SASU. The Path 1: B2G2B page sets out funding, ownership and operation in a table.
